Hi, I’m Monika. I founded and run Vegan House.

The idea for the place came to me during my travels, most often in a camper and with my animals.

It was hard to find a place worth stopping and a restaurant with something to eat, vegan…

I don’t eat meat for half my life and dairy for 1/4. I’m offended by the decor with hunting trophies, natural leather on the furniture doesn’t decorate but scares. I relax surrounded by wildlife, preferably. Concrete parking lots, paving stones on paths, evenly cut grass are not for me. I want to be a welcome Guest, not the one who causes a problem by asking about the ingredients of dishes because he has a group of four-legged friends with him.

If you have similar experiences, travel with a pet or are interested in a plant-based diet, want to try something new, are looking for an unusual place, a break from the chaos and concrete of the city… there is a high probability that Vegan House is created just for you!

What, where, how – about the place in brief.

The resort is located on the outskirts of the picturesque and historic village of Nagodzice. From the tents, above the treetops, you can see the Śnieżnik massif.

There used to be a farm here, centered around a more than hundred-year-old Sudeten house built of stone and wooden beams.
We were the first 100% vegan tourist destination in Lower Silesia and maybe even in Poland.

Every year we develop and add new services. We currently offer 2 types of accommodation in spherical tents and in rooms with bathrooms and bathtubs. We have our own restaurant where we prepare plant-based meals. We are also developing our SPA, currently offering access to a sauna and jacuzzi. We also have a large pond for winter swimming or cooling off in the summer 🙂

Wild and natural.

Nature has its own rules here. We try to interfere with it as little as possible. We care about biodiversity.
This means that we do not have paving stones on the paths or parking lot. You will get to the tents on stones and if it rains, on mud. Bring your wellies!
We only mow the grass in the most necessary places. The rest of our area is overgrown with wild, diverse vegetation.
A beautiful birch forest has grown around the tents. The vegetation changes depending on the season. Some plants replace others, grow, enter the terraces, paths. However, we organize this wilderness in moderation.
Biodiversity is not only the world of plants but also animals. Among the trees and grasses, birds sing, insects buzz, beetles, lizards and snakes sneak by. In our area there are grass snakes, slowworms and the European adder. The viper is rare, I have never met one in my 7 years of living in Vegan House. However, you have to be careful when entering the tall grass. It is more likely that you will see a deer in front of your tent while sipping your morning coffee. Deer and roe deer are fond of our area and often sneak among the trees.
